Dr. Josyann Abisaab and the Development of EMS Systems

Currently on Dr. Josyann Abisaab’s agenda is her contribution to the Scientific and Organizing Committees of The Lebanese Society of Emergency Medicine Annual Conference.  This will take place in Beirut, Lebanon, in November of this year.

This conference is of interest to those who have spent time focusing on EMS development in developing countries (especially the Middle East), therapeutic hypothermia, humanitarian assistance, and out-of-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

In addition, one of Dr. Abisaab’s aims is to “establish an American-Lebanese EM Initiative that will serve as an educational platform as well as a training ground for students, residents and health care providers.”
